Finding Training/Education
The Educational Opportunity Center has information on all of the
colleges, universities, vocational/technical schools and training
programs in the state of Kansas. EOC staff can also access information
about post-secondary educational institutions outside the state of
Kansas. Once you select a job/career interest EOC staff can help you
decide on the school/training program best suited for your needs. Some
of the services available to you, as a participant include:
Campus Visits
Schedule appointments for you to visit college campuses/training facilities. An EOC staff member can accompany you on the visit and provide transportation, if necessary.
Information about universities, colleges and vocational/technical schools
The EOC has a college catalog library representing all of the colleges, universities and vocational/technical schools in the state of Kansas. Information on out-of-state schools can also be obtained.
Schedule appointments
EOC staff can schedule appointments with faculty and staff at post-secondary institutions so that you can be assessed, receive academic advising and get enrolled.
Applying for Admission
EOC staff can assist you in applying for admission to post-secondary institutions and training programs. Assistance with completing admission essays is also provided.For more information about finding training or education, contact the EOC office at
