Career Planning

Finding a job that is right for you does not happen by chance, it takes careful planning, desire and determination. Career Planning allows you to select a career rather than settling for one.

How can you benefit from career exploration and planning?

  • Saves you time
  • Saves you money
  • Helps you understand your strengths and weaknesses
  • Helps you gain encouragement
  • Provides you guidance in selecting a career
  • Helps you set goals

Check out the EOC web site. The Educational Opportunity Center has a variety of Career Planning inventories. The inventories evaluate your interests, abilities, and values and provide suggestions for possible careers. The EOC staff can help you plan for yourcareer, make educational decisions, fill out forms, apply for financial aid and find training or education. The EOC provides free financial and academic information about post-secondary education for adult populations in the following counties:

  • Barton
  • Ellsworth
  • Pawnee
